Celebrate Michigan Cider Made by Guild Members

The Guild is stepping up its promotional activities. Koan said, “We believe consumers should know about the Guild and the benefits of visiting the mills of guild members. Everyone realizes that apples are a real health food. So is apple cider. It’s a nutritious and wholesome beverage. We want people to have confidence in the cider they buy from Guild members.”

Koziski added, “The Michigan State Horticultural Society helps us by staging an apple cider contest at its annual meeting each December in Grand Rapids. This is a competition for the best-tasting cider in the state. It’s another way to get the word out that cider is better than ever.”

Today, when it seems as if nearly everything is mass-produced, Guild members are proud to make cider in a careful, time-honored way that goes back generations. As professionals in the art of cider making, they combine a long tradition of craftsmanship with the latest in safety standards and quality control measures. The result? The most delicious, most healthful cider you’ve ever had.

Be sure to buy your cider from a member of the Michigan Cider Makers’ Guild.
